Governments, organisations, and activists are preparing for COP27 in Egypt next month, in a year in which the world has been hit by a range of climate related disasters, from hurricanes and heatwaves to long term droughts and massive flooding. The UN states categorically that “climate change is the single biggest health threat facing humanity” that is already taking the lives of 13 million people a year.

Will this year’s global summit be able to make a difference?
