In this paper by Matthew Costa and colleagues (BMJ 2022;376:e068041; doi:10.1136/bmj-2021-068041), three percentages in table 1 were incorrect: the percentages in the K-wire column for age ≥50 years, female sex, and extra-articular extension should be 21, 84, and 72, respectively. The online article and PDF have been corrected.
