Please reference any data that affirms the validity of Wrist blood pressure measurement in clinical monitoring.

I have always understood it to be a lifestyle fad and of no clinical value.

GPs like myself have advised patients for years that the only correct BP measurement with clinical continuity is that which exerts cuff pressure on the upper arm.

If BMJ asserts otherwise please publish data to support your illustration.
