The UK government must be clearer and more precise in its claims about NHS and healthcare funding, the UK Statistics Authority has said.
The watchdog, which oversees the government’s use of official statistics, examined a repeated claim by the prime minister, Theresa May, that the government had provided £10bn (€11.75bn; $12.4bn) in extra funding for the health service.
