
This standard classifies various types of overvoltages occurring in traction power supply system of high-speed railway. Characteristics of overvoltages include amplitude, frequency and oscillation duration with influence factors. This standard specifies a system composition, basic functions, technical requirements, test rules, test methods and testing sites layout of overvoltage monitoring system. It also includes overvoltage protection measures for suppressing different types of overvoltages.
