
This standard specifies an architecture for an optical receiver which consist of solar panels and associated circuitry. It enables energy efficient, affordable, and high speed optical wireless communication. The specified architecture addresses interoperability with IEEE Std 802.15.7 and IEEE Std 802.11bb for light communication.
