An error occurred while saving the comment J. Christian Sweatt commentedThis would be helpful for me as well! Specifically, we have two surveys that all graduating students are required to take in addition to submission their dissertation. If the manuscript passes our check, but the student is missing the survey, a "Minor Revisions" email is not appropriate. Another email template would be helpful here.
Also, my other request for students to be able to view our checklist would be helpful. This way, they can see what other items are missing: https://bibliotheek.ehb.be:2196/forums/924250-etd-admin/suggestions/42087754-allow-checklist-to-be-viewed-by-students

An error occurred while saving the comment J. Christian Sweatt commentedMy institution allows students to submit their dissertations at the end of their graduating term and, many times, their manuscript isn't 100% complete although it may look that way to me. Often, I come across a situation where all formatting and content passes, so I accept the manuscript, only to have the student contact me to say they still have further edits to make, thereby causing me to need to return the manuscript to the student.
It would be nice for the student to be able to indicate during the submission process whether the version they're uploading is still a draft, or if it is a final that can be processed for approval.
This would save a lot of time for me while I am reviewing other submissions at the end of each term, and it would minimize confusion and frustration.

Thank you for the idea. Where in the workflow would you want to discuss with the administrator?
An error occurred while saving the comment J. Christian Sweatt commentedThis is one of my pain points as well. I communicated this exact point with Eugene Bacungan on 6 August 2019. Here's my exact suggestion for this feature:
Currently, when a thesis or dissertation is submitted, I make comments regarding required revisions. That comment is sent via an email from the system to the student. If the student replies to the message, the email goes to my personal inbox - not back to ProQuest. It would be nice if the message could also be copied to the ProQuest “View Decisions” section. This would emulate HelpDesk software where there is a unique email address that, when replied to, a log is created of the message and it would then be viewable in a threaded format with the main email being the top, and its related messages underneath. A different parent message would be created each time a new decision is made – then the children (back and forth responses) collected underneath it.

My institution has both personal and institution email fields turned on, and I often find students entering their institution email address in BOTH fields. Making possible a check to ensure each field has a unique entry would be helpful!
