An error occurred while saving the comment This seems like an odd idea since ETD Admin delivers to the PGTDG database, which is only for theses and dissertations. Is the idea that the ETD Admin framework would just be an easier way to collect non-ETD submissions?

An error occurred while saving the comment I wish I could upvote this a thousand times. At my institution, students are submitting their work to ETD Admin very close to their graduation-paperwork deadline, so they rush through the instructions we give them--having something that forces them to read a little more carefully can only help.

An error occurred while saving the comment I don't know if this is an option that would work for you, but my institution just removed the IR embargo from the list of options, and we just use the requested PQ as the IR embargo as well. If they don't want their work to appear on Proquest, a restricted database, we think it's safe to assume they don't want it on an open-access database either.

It would be great to also have the option to do it from the ETD list, ideally via a checklist.
