Including BIB# on order slip that is in book
As the inclusion of the bib would be useful for cataloguing purposes, it should be fairly simple to add it to the information that is on the delivery/order slip that is inserted into a book. It would save the cataloguers having to look it up.

minimize Authorize Order page to view and edit multiple items at once
The new Authorize Order page has great features that it truly needed. The only problem is that each item is huge and takes up the entire viewing page. An expand or contract option would be helpful.

Order Ebook Central upgrades through OASIS
The ability to order an Ebook Central license upgrade through OASIS. This can then follow the same workflow as any other OASIS order, with the institution being invoiced for the upgrade cost only.
This is currently working perfectly when upgrading eBook licenses on GOBI.

Allow searches across items Sent to Ratifier
To help me more easily track what I've selected, I keep folders for these items, but it would be nice if instead of that extra step, I could easily search across those items I've sent to our Ratifier.

Integrate with Choice Reviews
Like many other libraries, we use Choice Reviews Online for title selection. Any possiblity of having a button with the option of adding the title to our OASIS cart? Right now, only Gobi is integrated with CRO.

When a selector is ordering a title that duplicates a title already held, add a popup or alert
Our selectors sometimes don't check to see if a title is already held before placing an order. Having an alert or popup that warns someone about placing an order for a duplicate item would help us manage duplication.

Display newer editions of a title when performing an ISBN search
One of the limitations on OASIS is that it is not immediately obvious whether there is a newer edition of a title available. Performing a title search can be problematic especially when searching for generic titles. It is often easier to search on Amazon as they clearly identify whether a newer edition is available. It would be nice if we had another tab similar to “Alternative formats” which would allow us to check for “Alternative editions”.

View order status all on one page
We would like to be able to view all order statuses on one page, like you would with Amazon. That way we wouldn't have to click on each title for to see the status. That takes too much time.
8 votesWe are currently exploring ways to make statuses more visible and prominent in the browse experience.
Please reach out to me at kevan.mcgowan@proquest.com to review the new design

Please add a field for ebook Format to OASIS (in title details)
Knowing whether or not an ebook is available at EPUB or PDF or both is a critical data point for us to know before we purchase an ebook. Please include a field for ebook format in the "title details" section.

Vertical Split Screen Option
A vertical split screen, as opposed to the current horizontal split screen, would better utilize the computer monitor's screen space. I could scroll through my list on the left, while easily viewing the order or title information on the right. Currently, I have barely enough room on the screen to view two titles on the top split and still see the order/title information on the bottom split.
27 votesHi everyone
With the recent release of the new checkout experience, we are excited to announce that we will now begin scoping out and implementing a new search browsing experience. This new experience will make much better use of screen real estate and allow you to browse titles in a much more user-friendly manner. We have designed and tested the new concept and received lots of positive feedback from our users.
This will be a large project and will likely take 5+ months to build. I will keep you posted as we reach milestones.

Allow administrators the ability to create / amend / delete new fund codes etc.
It would be good to have the ability to create, amend or delete funds or other fields ourselves rather than having to request the amendments each time something changes.

Allow Administrators to create new users
It would simplify things immensely if admins could add new users to their library without having to make the request directly to customer service.

eBook licence display
Oasis already displays the licence types for e-books, so perhaps they could just change the current statement from “Download and online” to:
“Full download and online” for e-books which can be downloaded in full and “Partial download and online” for e-books which are only licenced for partial download

Oclc record delivery
Currently, if you want OCLC record data, you have to get an amalgamation of what is in the ProQuest database and the OCLC info that database has on hand.
I would like to get the unaltered OCLC record itself as it exists in OCLC’s worldcat database. It would be fine if the TOC and summary services overlaid their info in the 505 and 520 fields (as well as a customized 845 field for institution specific linking), but we find the ProQuest amalgam record to usually be of lower quality than the matched OCLC record.
Understandably, we could also use the…

ability to select multiple subject classification ranges
I would like to add multiple classifications into one search (see screenshot). But it seems like if I add one, then click on "select classification" it just erases the previous selection.
For example, I'd like to make multiple selections for an ongoing project. (Sort of like I can make multiple selections for Readership Level.)
For this project, I need to keep up with new books in many related LC subjects:
T174
TL581
TL790
TL794 (for the TLs, a range would be okay)
HD9711
QB500
KNQ3469Is this possible? If so, how do I do that? I know I can create…

Automatically populate order info fields depending on format
If a selector picks an ebook, we would like certain order info fields populated in the same way, e.g. Location: Online Resources; Loan Type Reference; and Sequence: Electronic Books. Most print books are also treated the same way, e.g. Location: University Library, so it would be helpful if these fields could be populated automatically. This would reduce work for selectors and reduce user errors and subsequent queries for ProQuest and for Library Procurement staff, e.g. when a selector picks an ebook and says it is for 4 week loan.

Add an alert when items are moved to 'Authorize orders'
It would be very useful if some sort of audible alert or 'pop-up' (Dawson's have this functionality) could be added as soon as items are moved to 'Authorize orders'. Currently it is necessary to log in to check. Thanks

Report an error suggestion
When we come across entries that have obviously incorrect information, such as a description of a different product, it would be easier and faster to have a button or link to report that directly on the entry rather than having to transfer identifying information about the product to the generic feedback form.

Leisure Reading Granularity and Auto Approval for Academic Libraries
Academic libraries struggle to create leisure reading collections for undergraduate students. We'd like to see more from Oasis in helping us shift these over to auto approval plans that take advantage of the traditional print runs of these materials (particularly graphic novels) and assist in building hands off products that solves these issues.
