It would be helpful if there was a way to download just the reader's highlights/annotations of a certain text.
It would be helpful if there was a way to download just the reader's highlights/annotations of a certain text. Not the whole chapter or book, but just the highlights portions that the reader has selected. Similar to the feature available in Kindle and other eReaders. This allows the reader to download/print only their annotations which can be helpful for academic writing, etc.

Friendly language for number of users
The language used to describe number of users across all systems should be updated to be patron friendly. It is confusing for patrons and librarians!

Encourage/incentivize use of MathML to ensure better access for persons who are blind
More actively encourage or incentivize publishers to ensure that mathematical content in their e-books are accessible to persons who are blind or visually impaired. This can be done by including equations formatted as MathML (rather than just text or images of equations) and by including detailed descriptions of graphs as alt-text. Since eBook Central is situated between users and publishrs, it is in a strong position to help advocate for this type of improved accessibility.
