A test procedure is outlined which can be used to identify quickly audio equipment that may be susceptible to hum, buzz, or radio-frequency interference. The procedure is simple and straightforward. The equipment does not require removal from an installed system. The construction and use of the test equipment, which can be built easily using available parts, is described.
