We have had sound reinforcement systems since the invention of the microphone. Oddly enough, most of these systems were designed back in the 1930`s and they filled all needs until the late 1960`s! Along came rock `n roll and with it came a need for specially designed, high level portable sound systems. This paper will describe a very novel but practical design approach for touring sound systems.
