A driving unit, an anthropomorphic head, and monitoring microphones have been combined to produce a unique high source-impedance facility for measuring the acoustic impedance of oxygen, gas, and diver`s masks. The response of microphones in masks can also be measured. The calibrator has been used at gas pressures simulating depths from sea level to 600 feet below sea level.
