Recently, much has been said concerning the distortion arising from tracking angle errors, lateral and vertical, in record playback systems. The original theoretical calculations of these distortions were done before the advent of stereo and before RIAA became the standard of the industry, so perhaps this would be a good time to review the causes and extent of tracking angle error distortions.
