Field Experience Programs

Scope Note: 
Work based learning programs, usually at the college level, offering students supervised experiences to help them acquire skills related to their field of study. In preservice teacher education, field experience programs are distinct from and usually precede student teaching. Prior to Jun78, the use of this term was not restricted by a scope note.
