Borden, Victor M. H.
Diverse: Issues in Higher Education, v29 n9 p19-26 Jun 2012
This article presents the Top 100 institutions that conferred the most bachelor's degrees to students of color in academic year 2010-2011. The data for this analysis are collected from all U.S. postsecondary institutions through the completions survey of the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS) maintained by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). The preliminary data are complete and accurate for institutions included in the analysis, which represent the vast majority of four-year colleges and universities in the U.S. Each institutional listing shows the total number of bachelor's degrees for a specific minority group or for total minorities with subtotals for women and men in that group.
