Getting Students in the Safety Zone
Roy, Ken
Science Teacher, v77 n3 p10-11 Mar 2010
Students coming into science labs need initial and ongoing training about safety standards and best practices. They also need to develop good attitudes about their work and the health and safety of their teachers and fellow students. The "School Chemistry Laboratory Safety Guide" is a resource for science teachers and school administrators to help move students into the safety zone. The guide's major divisions include some of the example items presented in this month's Safer Science column. (Contains 1 online resource.)
