Another Day in the Life of the National Children's Study
Balsam, Marion
Exceptional Parent, v39 n8 p40-42 Aug 2009
Five years ago, the editor of "Exceptional Parent" Magazine requested the author to provide an account of a day in the life of the National Children's Study, an ambitious study by the federal government that aims to find out how the environment affects child health and development. Planning and implementation of the National Children's Study has seen great progress during the past 5 years. In this article, the author provides follow-up to the life of the National Children's Study and discusses the efforts needed to develop and implement such a large, far-reaching study.
