Physical Disabilities: Education and Related Services, v27 n2 p37-48 Spr 2009
This study evaluated the impact of collaborative efforts of grandparents and school professionals in the treatment of Traumatic Brain Injury in a six-year-old boy. The method of treatment was discrete trial training across settings (e.g., home and school) and the change agents were the child's grandparents, special education teacher, and a teacher assistant. Findings indicated that discrete trial training led to increased academic and adaptive skills. (Contains 2 tables.)
