An Analysis of Individual and Institutional Contributors to the "Journal of Teaching in International Business"

This study traces the development of the "Journal of Teaching in International Business (JTIB)" in terms of its contributors of published research in the field of international business education. The study is based on an analysis of the 245 articles published in the first twelve volumes of "JTIB". The reported results provide evaluative information, including the contributor authors, extent of collaboration, author attributes, institutional sources and geographic origins for research published by "JTIB". The study concludes that, within a relatively brief span of time, "JTIB" has developed into a respected outlet for refereed research in international business education as evidenced by the substantial majority of contributing authors affiliated with quality institutions accredited by the AACSB.
