"If You Are Ready to Work and Ready to Study, Then You'll Find a Job You Like"
Dong, Liang
Chinese Education and Society, v38 n4 p82-84 Jul-Aug 2005
Liu Li, a graduate of the food engineering program at Beijing Agricultural College, has been out in the world for four years, principally seeking what was on the market, continually readjusting her job goals, and increasing her knowledge through study in order to have the essential skills that the market wants. This article describes her personal experiences of looking for a job that will allow her to apply what she had learned at school. From the experiences she had, she relates how it was difficult to find job nowadays as the labor market has become excessively competitive. She suggests that young people have to dare to be bold of vision and courageous in action so they may find a job that they like. [Translated by Jennifer Eagleton.]
