Classroom Activities Can Last a Lifetime
Roman, Harry T.
Technology Teacher, v66 n2 p31-32 Oct 2006
In this article, the author relates how an experience in 4th grade impacted his future career and aspirations. He emphasizes the relevance of learning, at an early age, good writing and speaking skills, the ability to ask the right questions, and the importance of learning from each other. He contends that learning from each other is a very dominant learning style in the world of work and is often the province of the leader-teacher. The sooner school children learn to effectively learn from each other, the greater the advance of education into the information age will be.
