Science is defined broadly in this database to include archeology, computer technology, medicine, inventions, and mathematics, as well as biology, chemistry, earth sciences, and astronomy. Content also is divided into format categories for browsing purposes: biographies, essays (articles), definitions, diagrams, experiments, and timelines (chronologies). The print reference sources are usually recommended for grades seven through twelve, and the diagrams/handouts can be used with younger students. Tips for searching Science Online are provided.
