Discusses the authors' efforts as teachers to incorporate more informational text into primary grade lessons with the use of content literacy practices. Describes two lessons using content reading strategies and practices with informational text. Encourages other teachers in primary grades to incorporate informational text into their classrooms by using these and other content reading strategies and practices. (SG)
