Client Perceptions of and Preferences for University-Based Career Services.
Shivy, Victoria A.; Koehly, Laura M.
Journal of Vocational Behavior, v60 n1 p40-60 Feb 2002
Data from 133 students using university career services were subjected to multidimensional scaling. Analysis showed that class level, occupational status, career development classes, and experiences with career counseling contributed to different perceptions of services. All participants preferred direct interaction with the workplace, such as internships, information interviews, and career fairs. (Contains 38 references.) (SK)
