Constantine, Madonna G.
Journal of Mental Health Counseling, v23 n4 p357-72 Oct 2001
Explores variables that predict counselors' ability to conceptualize clients' mental health issues from a multicultural perspective. Results reveal that counselors with higher levels of multicultural training, an eclectic/integrative orientation to counseling, and higher affective empathy attitudes, were rated as better able to conceptualize a culturally diverse client's mental health issues.
