Compares the relationship between family environment, childhood sexual abuse experiences, and long-term adjustment of female college students. Analysis revealed a significant relationship between perceptions of family psychological health and severity of abuse for most extreme patterns of abuse. Current psychological distress appears to be related to certain aspects of abuse, such as use of threats, force, and duration. (Author/JDM)
