A leadership training institute emphasizing emotional competence has been conducted in 26 nursing education programs with clinical partners. Outcomes have included enhanced education-practice collaboration, professional networking, nurse educators and clinical partners acting as change agents, and integration of leadership experiences into the bachelor of science in nursing curriculum.
