As our experiences become more global in nature, dialogue and partnerships with non-American institutions will become important. The authors discuss the importance of international exchange for student affairs professionals and provide an overview of the value of such exchanges, opportunities for long- and short-term travel programs, and strategies for gaining institutional support for professional travel abroad.
