Considering the conflicting values of vocational education and training (VET) stakeholders, value positions are relativist compared to the objectivity of ethical theories. Positing an interdependent conception of the self, an ethical position based on equal consideration of interests is preferred as the ethical basis of VET policy and practice. (SK)
