The Cross-Ethnic Equivalence of Measures Commonly Used in Mental Health Services Research with Children.
Cunningham, Phillippe B.; And Others
Journal of Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, v4 n4 p231-39 Oct 1996
This study examined the cross-ethnic equivalence of several measures commonly used to tap contextual correlates (i.e., parental symptomatology, family relations, peer relations) of serious emotional disturbance in children. Subjects were 117 juvenile offenders with diagnosed substance abuse or dependence disorders and considerable psychiatric comorbidities. Findings support the cross-ethnic equivalence of the measures examined. (DB)
