Treating Test Anxiety. A Review of Three Approaches.
Nicaise, Molly
Teacher Education and Practice, v11 n1 p65-81 Spr-Sum 1995
Promising developments in test anxiety treatment research help decrease the related physiological responses, strengthen the ability to handle tensions through study skills and test-taking training, and use cognitive restructuring and cognitive supports to handle problematic testing situations. The article reviews the three philosophies and presents examples of treatment interventions. (SM)
