Medcamp's Effect on Junior High School Students' Medical Career Self-Efficacy.
Speight, Joan D.; And Others
Career Development Quarterly, v43 n2 p285-95 Mar 1995
Medcamp, a problem-based career intervention for high school freshmen, implemented each of the four antecedents for self-efficacy. Three scales measured specific self-efficacy (tasks performed during Medcamp), related efficacy (tasks students would complete by the second year of medical school), and general self-efficacy. Results demonstrated significant increases on all three scales. (JPS)
