Redefining "Enjoyment": Prospective Physical Education Teachers' Appraisal of "Enjoyment" Following an Outdoor Adventure Camp.
Hastie, Peter A.
Journal of Experiential Education, v17 n3 p29-33 Dec 1994
An adventure weekend course aimed to clarify college physical education majors' perceptions of "enjoyment,""success," and "challenge" associated with physical education activities. Twenty-five students participated in a high ropes course, a climbing wall, and group problem-solving activities, and became more reflective and student-centered in regard to educational practices.
