A survey on inclusion of courses on group work in the graduate social work curriculum found that most schools (out of 89 responding institutions) offered group work only as an elective course, which few take. Responses indicate that foundation courses include little on this topic. Consequences for the field and recommendations for social work education are discussed. (Author/MSE)
