Internships: Learning the Most from the Best in the Least Amount of Time.
Cottrill, Dollie
NASSP Bulletin, v78 n559 p72-74 Feb 1994
In effective principal preparation programs, interns are encouraged to observe a wide range of well-administered schools through exposure to varied styles. Mentors are carefully selected, highly competent professionals willing to accept the role of teacher, confidant, and role model. Mentors should volunteer; they should never be assigned. Evaluation of interns' progress is continuous, and time is managed carefully. (MLH)
