Conducted qualitative case study of women's residence hall floor to discover how institutional culture properties shaped values, beliefs, and behaviors of undergraduate women. Findings from resident assistant, hall coordinator, faculty fellow, and 34 floor residents revealed that residence hall proved to be environment that supported residents as they adjusted to college life and freedom and responsibility of adulthood.
