Using financial data from an annual national survey, differences in revenue patterns are analyzed for six groups of medical schools (research-intensive, generalist-producers, community-based, private/freestanding, private, public) on both departmental and school levels, and information about student financial aid sources is presented for 1989-90 and 1990-91.
