Examined questionnaire responses from 222 current and 74 former admissions staff to determine influences, attitudes, and expectations of admission personnel. Found that current and former admission professionals were similar in many respects, the most obvious difference being salary. Admission professionals expressed dissatisfaction with salaries and indicated desire for more responsibility. (NB)
