Administrative Decision-Making: Do Time, Management Level, and Problem Context Make a Difference?
Krager, LuAnn; Brown, Robert D.
NASPA Journal, v29 n2 p121-30 Win 1992
Examined relationship of perceived time to make decision, management level, problem context, and reported administrator stress in student affairs officers (n=80) and housing directors (n=88). Results indicated time to decide did not dramatically affect participants' responses, but management level and problem context were associated with differences in information used, difficulty making decision, and sense of responsibility.
