Temporal processing capabilities of 15 dyslexic children and 15 age-matched and 15 reading-matched controls were compared. One- and two-syllable words were displayed for short and long durations; subjects exhibited decreased word identification accuracy in the two-syllable, short-duration condition. No differences in eye movement behaviors were identified to account for these results. (Author/PB)
