Surveyed audiologists (n=231) felt responsible for providing informational counseling on such topics as interpretation of audiograms/tympanograms, hearing aid selection/fitting, assistive listening devices, environmental factors affecting communication, etc., but felt that someone other than an audiologist should counsel students on educational and vocational concerns, communication strategies, etc. (JDD)
