The study compared attitudes of three groups of employers of the mentally retarded (employers of workers who either received (1) supported competitive employment services, (2) only job placement services, or (3) no known services). Employers were most satisfied with the performance of those retarded employees receiving supported competitive employment services. (Author/DB)
