Examines the close relationship between Ferris State College and Michigan's community colleges and the key role this has played in a coordinated move toward economic revitalization. Describes efforts made in the areas of articulation, prototype vocational programs, admissions counseling, technical education, and the testing and training of vocational teachers. (LAL)
