The Influence of Introductory Accounting Courses on Career Choices.
Cangelosi, James S.; And Others
Delta Pi Epsilon Journal, v27 n1 p60-68 Spr-Sum 1985
This study investigated what factors affect undergraduate students' consideration of careers in accounting as they matriculate through a typical sequence of introductory accounting courses. Findings indicate that students believe that accountants are likely to find secure positions, those positions are likely to provide healthy incomes, and accountants' work is overly time-consuming and unpleasant.
