Teaching Home Safety and Survival Skills to Latch-Key Children: A Comparison of Two Manuals and Methods.
Peterson, Lizette
Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, v17 n3 p279-93 Fall 1984
The influence of two training manuals--a discussion-oriented "Prepared for Today" manual and a behaviorally oriented "Safe at Home" manual--were evaluated with three behaviorally trained and three discussion-trained latchkey children. Behaviorally trained Ss demonstrated higher and more stable increases in skills with generalization. (CL)
