Describes an attempt to evaluate an autism treatment model as it functions in an ongoing clinical service. The model, developed by Schopler and Reichler (1971), uses a developmental-behavioral approach and trains parents to be therapists for their own autistic children. Participants were 15 autistic children between two and eight years of age and their families. (RH)
