Analyzed the relationship between access to social welfare programs and the extent potential rehabilitants pursue vocational rehabilitation. Vocational rehabilitation clients (N=200) completed a benefit survey. Benefits variables were consistently related to vocational rehabilitation outcome variables. The more sources of benefits, the less likely is successful case closure. (Author)
