Evaluated generalizability of findings that male and female patients receive differential psychiatric treatment. Comparison of outpatients on demographic, clinical, and self-report measures of mood, symptoms, and interpersonal concerns revealed no sex differences. Results indicated that with samples of male and female patients, there were no significant sex-related differences. (Author/BEF)
