Examined in this paper are several hypotheses about unemployment correlates among Indians of northeast Oregon. Unemployment, including current employment status and unemployment over the entire work history, serves as the dependent variable. The independent variables include education, achievement motivation, Indian traditionalism, perceived employment discrimination, and several background characteristics. (Author/EB)
